Gavin Gregory

I have been engrossed with how the internet works since kindergarten, spending my time creating rudimentary websites as a child.

My most recent half-decade of professional years have been spent in Javascript and TypeScript, mostly in React. I truly enjoy working within JavaScript, learning about JavaScript, and how the web works as a whole. I have also touched so much else of modern front-end and full-stack tooling ranging from Next, Vue, Go, Astro, Tailwind, GraphQL, various headless CMSs, various component libraries, and more.

Before narrowing my focus on modern, JavaScript-centered web development, I spent five years managing PHP-based websites, a time before the rise of React and contemporary front-end tooling. While the majority of my experience is in front-end development, I also have experience in back-end with Laravel, Go, and Node.

I add immense value not just as an engineer, but a team member. I pride myself on continuously improving, always showing up, and being an authentic person that peers enjoy working with and having around. I am a strong communicator, a good listener, and always striving to be better.
